Voudou and Haitian father trickster Orisha, Elegba is the lord of the crossroads, the road opener and gatekeeper. There are twenty-one of him, but I offer this one homage, using the number twenty-one in the formulation. In different places he is also called Papa Legba or Elegua.
This is one of the few Natural Magick formulas which uses a synthetic, in this case coconut fragrance. Elegba wanted it or else this website would not have been possible. Tobacco absolute and a very special rum are also in this formulation, traditional offerings to the lord of the crossroads. Elegba's special day is Monday, so I concoct this devotional oil for him on Mondays in the waxing Moon. It smells very fresh and Caribbean.
