There are quite a few herbs that are associated with the Moon, but though my studies I have been able to assign most of these to correspond to a particular Moon phase. Mugwort is one herb that shares properties with all phases of the moon, so Dark Moon, Full Moon, and New Moon all share Mugwort essential oil in common.

New Moon oil is made on the night of the New Moon for any New Moon ritual, for beginnings, fresh starts, etc. Focus herb: Lemon peel

New Moon contains other Moon associated essential oils that correspond to the beginning of her phase. How do I know that Eucalyptus is an herb of the New Moon? Its luminous blue-cheese color and sickle shape are the Doctrine of Signature, signifying the crescent of the New Moon. I also use Lemon essential oil for its freshness, and I cut the Lemon peel into little sickle shapes to use as the focus herb.

Full Moon oil is prepared of essential oils of Moon flowers and herbs blended on the night of the Full Moon. Focus herb: Jasmine flower

Full Moon is a bright, robust, and energetic formulation which smells at once powdery and brilliant, silvery and mysterious. Jasmine absolute, as costly as it is, is necessary, as are the rare and expensive Solar botanicals (unaddressed by other formulators), because the Full Moon is reflecting the Sun's light. Anoint your Full Moon celebrants on the forehead with this oil and see them relax, sigh, and radiate the reflective power of the Full Moon. Use it to release Full Moon powers if you should ideally do a spell on the Full Moon but are unable to wait.

Dark Moon oil is made in the dark of the Moon for any Dark Moon ritual, such as releasing, banishing, minimizing or forgiveness. Focus herb: Nori Seaweed

Dark Moon incorporates the darker botanicals which correspond to the Moon. The seaweed focus herb itself is black, so obviously it embodies the dark aspect of the Moon. Dark Moon is a soft, solemn blend. Use it on black candles for forgiveness, release, or introspection. Dark Moon could also be used to look into the Mysteries, safeguard secrets, or attune to the Dark Goddesses.

These magick oils are also called ritual oils, anointing oils or condition oils. They can be used to anoint a person, candle, mojo bag, lucky coins, jewelry, amulets, statues, prayer or spell scrolls, or anything that has a connection with the purpose of the oil or the "condition" it is made to address. Use them according to your inspiration, imagination, the instructions in a book, your Spirit Guide, teacher or Angel's recommendations, or how your Grandma taught you."
