Oud Agarwood stick incense

Real Oud is the resin that is exuded by decomposing ancient Agarwood/Aloeswood trees. While the real thing is still available, centuries of commercial demand has made it prohibitively expensive. We doubt that there is any of the real thing in this stick incense, but it definitely gets close to the fragrance, which is woodsy, resinous and salty, with sweetness added in from other ingredients. Oud is used for spiritual meditation and because the ancient musical instrument called the oud, creative energy. It is a masala type which means that it contains real resins and woods and fragrance oils.
