Scorpion is one of the ultimate survivors, the epitome of resistance and adaptation to harsh environments. As we heat the planet with fossil fuels, causing fires and aridification, Scorpion will prevail. Scorpion can always defend itself. As a Spirit Guide, Scorpion teaches us to lean into adversity, toughen up, and develop resilience. And not be afraid to strike back.
This fragrance emotes desert, sand, fire, and poison.
Our Scorpion oil does contain one synthetic fragrance, the dark and smoky Danoul Oud, which smells like the nearly (commercially) extinct resin of the Oud tree, which becomes a perfume after ancient trees die and the sap is digested by a fungus. So you will have to forgive us the use of the synthetic. It smells dark and spooky, since most of us are born with primal fear of this great totem, Scorpion.
Scorpion oil is another potion requested by a customer. We figure, if one person wants it, maybe more of y'all do! Not all of our formulations need to be best sellers, right? Many thanks to @midnight_cowgirl for being the Muse for this potion!
Natural Magick Spirit Guide oils are made with reverence and research to be pleasing devotional blends for the animals or beings they are named for. I research legend and lore, and try to use oils of plants that represent the guide, what it does and what it smells like. The Natural Magick process of using planetary and elemental influences, correspondence, and high quality ingredients is especially appropriate for invoking the nature of your guide.
Spirit Guide oils are not made as fakey perfumes with marketable names. Fox really does smell wild and clever, Bear is somber and impressive, Angel is ethereal and bright, Dragon smells like smoke and scales.
Anoint yourself to attune to your totem, or pour into offering bowls or aromatherapy lamps, or anoint statues or fetish objects.
These oils are in beautiful round 1/2 ounce bottles, blended in 100% jojoba oil, so with any care they should last a very long time. They are priced according to the ingredients most resembling the guide so named.
