My New Garden Blessing is almost identical to the one prescribed by Scott Cunningham in Magical Herbalism. While it is written for a new garden, you will find it easy to adapt to bless an existing garden. Perhaps you have a garden already but now you want to dedicate it as part of your magickal practice.
Enjoy this simple, lovely ritual! Best performed on the New Moon. This spell kit contains almost everything you need to execute the spell, except for a few common easy to find items.
This spell kit includes:
- Demeter oil
- five white votive candles
- mistletoe
- cord
- compass needle
Not included:
- four nice rocks, one different from the others
- garden spade
- small bowl of water
- quart of hard cider or red wine
