Grief is not something that one "just gets over." It is a process to be tended. For one suffering from intense grief, sometimes the most you can do for self care is to make a cup of tea. This is the spirit with which we offer Tending Grief Tea. The herbs selected for this sacred process are warming, because grief is cold, sweetening, because grief is bitter, and contains other herbs for regulation and repair of the injuries that grief delivers to the brain and nervous system. 1 oz package
Ingredients: Solomon's Seal root, Cinnamon, Motherwort, Lady's Mantle, Tulsi, Linden leaf & flower, Hawthorn berries, Butterfly Pea flowers, Ginseng, Rose petals, Cardamom and Stevia.
Add about 1/4 package to a pint of room temperature water and store in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. This helps to soften the hawthorn berries and Solomon Seal so that better extraction will take place. Pour the jar of herbs into a pot and bring just to simmer. Allow to cool, strain and serve warm.
